Personal
Stories
Each resident
at The Greens at Cannondale has a story to tell. They talk about
their decision to join our community and how it came about. Each
resident has a unique perspective on this decision and shares
how this new lifestyle meets their particular requirements. Here
are the stories of two of our residents.
Clifford
Webb
After his wife passed away several years ago, Clifford Webb found
he was having a difficult time living alone. His daughter came
from Arizona to help out for a time, but the responsibilities of
owning and maintaining the house simply became too much for Mr.
Webb to comfortably handle. He decided it was time to move.
Like many older adults, Mr. Webb was unfamiliar with the term "assisted
living." Then he and his daughter worked together to research
and visit assisted living communities. "We looked at a lot
of places. The Greens at Cannondale was the best, by far," he
says.
After several visits to meet with staff and residents, Mr. Webb
made his decision to move to The Greens at Cannondale. "The
people here are so friendly and the staff is so helpful. And I've
started swimming over at the Wilton family YMCA, participating
in lots of great activities, and regularly attend religious services.
I really like it here."
Peg
Paige
Peg Paige decided she wanted a more relaxed, less stressful lifestyle.
Peg found the daily chores were becoming just too much and were
taking away from her enjoyment. Along with her two daughters, they
started exploring alternatives. The Greens at Cannondale offered
the best solution.
"My daughters were so excited when they told me about The Greens at Cannondale," Mrs.
Paige says. "The financial arrangement was the best they had found and the
amenities were outstanding," she adds.
Mrs. Paige sums up her experience at The Greens at Cannondale. "I
am so well taken care of, by such kind and gracious people and
I have a very creative chef so my meals are fantastic All my needs
are being met!"
